Minuteman Missile N.H.S. preserves the last remaining Minuteman II missile, launch silo and control center (pictured here). These missiles were used during the Cold War by the U.S. as part of a deterrent strategy to prevent strikes from the Soviet Union. The site today preserves everything the day it was when it was decommissioned in the early 90s and is mostly unchanged from it's original design in the 1960s when it was first built.
