Golden Gate National Recreation is one of the largest urban parks in the country and includes several prominent sites such as the Cliff House, Baker Beach, The Presidio and Crissy Field in San Francisco, as well as vast areas of land north of the bay in the Marin Headlands area, extending as far north as Point Reyes. Its most notable landmark is the Golden Gate Bridge--the most beautiful bridge in the world in my opinion and one of the things that most inspired me to become an engineer.
